The rush from the first Affliction card is not yet passed and Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko is already getting himself ready for the next match up - yet again for Affliction in the US and to top it all off, the opponent has already been decided - Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski!!

Arlovski is also coming off a categorical and impressive win over Ben Rothwell on the same card in which Fedor demolished former UFC champion Tim Sylvia.

It almost looks like Affliction is trying to see if any UFC champions match up to their own WAMMA world champion in Fedor. Here is what Fedor himself had to say to a french MMA magazine:

I want to make up for lost time and combat more this year. The next event Affliction is planned for November, but we will try to advance in October, so that I can prepare properly for my struggle to Dream in December.

Regarding the name of his next opponent, Fedor was categorical:

This will be Andrei Arlovski. I do not know the name of my opponent to Dream (probably Mirko” Cro Cop “), but then I intend to tackle Josh Barnett In March the USA.
